Seat Galore: 7 front seats in my car
My 2003 sedan seats started getting boring, and did not give me enough grip on tight turns.
Plus I think they're a little outdated in the looks department, so it was time for something new.

When I tried driving a 2006 sedan, a 2007 sedan, and a 2005 coupe, I realized how much better their seats were than the
03/04 sedan seats. They all had more comfort and they hugged you better; especially the coupe seats.

The most light-weight seat is the passenger coupe and the heaviest is the 2007 sedan
driver seat. Makes sense since one car is more sporty while the other leans toward luxury.
At first I bought a lightly used 2007 sedan driver seat. This seat is the biggest one of them all, and more luxurious. My
friend got a seat like this before me for his 2006 G35X, and I knew there had to be some modifications done to make
it fit, so I took my time and let it sit in my computer room until I could make some time.

The 07 sedan driver seat is placed in my 2003.5 sedan for test fitment. The passenger seat is
from a 2006 G35x and does not look as out of place as my stock seat would.
After a short time, I found a sick set of custom suede coupe seats in great condition.
I jumped on the seats the next day and didn't hesitate to install them. Driver seat was
a straight bolt-in, same exact harnesses. The passenger side has the same railings but
the power harness is a little different. I never got to modify the wiring because I ran
in trouble with the law and had my car impounded for 6 months. After the huge mess, I
need to pay a few thousand in fines and legal fees. That is a good enough reason for me
to sell the coupe seats to help me with the financial situation. I will surely miss them,
they're just so hot and snug.

The coupe seats make your car feel stiffer, and keep your body more stable on turns. The suede just keeps me staring.

There was one more set of seats I had my eye out for that were better than my stock seats,
and those are the 2006 sedan seats. I suspect that many people did not notice the difference
in them, but the 05/06 sedan seats have bigger side bolsters that hold you better in place. They
are also slightly bigger and make the car looks more luxurious. The passenger seat was a direct
swap, but the driver side power harness had to be slightly rewired.

Next project... installing seat heater switches.

Oh yea, what a painful day, my back hurt the next day, I'm sure yours was worse !
I'm gunna miss those puppies
Oh and yea, 03/04 headrests > 05/06 headrests. The 03/04 have a bigger curve for your head, and the back of it is more flat so you can put a nice size TV, the 05/06 are more flat in the area where you rest your head, and the back is more narrow and taller so you cant really put any nice screens in them. You can swap the headrests, I'm sure thats what DieselX is doing anyway.

I would love to buy your suede coupe seats and sell my coupe seats but I bet it would cost less to just have mine covered. Are you willing to ship them? If so what do you want for them?
