Remote Start / NAV ..2 questions

1st the simple one.. Can the 6mt have a remote starter on it with a manual trans for say if you left it in neutral i guess? If possible, best brand to get?

2nd question..
My G doesn't have navigation.. its got the empty compartment that is endlessly deep. Is there a kit to have navigation put it, and would it be possible to get a Garmin put in it instead of that stock navi. I love Garmin, anyone know? Any help would be appreciated. (Meaning have the pop up nav. kit with a Garmin in it.. obviously I could just hook up a Garmin if i wanted)

You may want to try the search option. I believe both of these options have been discussed multiple times.

1) I believe there is a neutral sensor-type-thing in the trans that can be used with the auto starter to make sure it won't turn on if the car is in gear.

2) you'll need to look closer into your year model (since you mentioned pop-up, i'm assuming you have a gen1 model). Try looking for double din or single din, can't remember which.

1. yes there are kits out there for MT's (search it)... and they work just like thanmad said...

2. do some research in the Audio, Video, & Electronics forum... there are a few options for adding a navi in the cubby...
