I just recently got an Athens blue 6mt sport with the premium package and the nav package. I looked up the vehicle weight and it shows 3668 pounds. I was wondering does anyone know if this weight figure is including the rear wheel steering package? and if so how much does one weigh without the rear wheel steering? I looked on motor trends review and they show an 03 g35 6mt coupe as weighing somewhere in the range of 3450. Does this car weigh over 200 pounds more than an 03 sport? Also does anyone know how to attach a pic to the avitar display?

 

Yes it does weigh over 200lb more than the first generation G. To attach a pic u have to get premier member.

hense why the 0-60 times are almost exactly the same as the 03+ when it has 50 more hp....

 

it is a bit quicker than a stock first gen G. The engine produces nice power curve throughout the RPM, Peak it only makes about 30whp more than the first gen.

 

I saw the dyno charts on http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...rts/index.html and they show the 37 as having 287/236 at the wheels compared to the 35 as having 236/218 at the wheels, and motor trend shows 0-60 times of 5.7 on the g35 coupe 6mt (although that is an 03), compared to 5.2 for the g37 6mt. I am still wondering though if the figure of 3668 pounds is including a rear wheel steering mechanism?

yea.. which models come with the active rear steering? how much is the package, and +10K on the rear wheel steering weight question!

 

The g37 journey equipped with the premium package, or the sport 6mt with the premium package... thats what Infiniti.com says... the list price for this option is $1300 but they would prob discount that number... I would think a rear wheel steering mech. would have to add atleast 70 pounds though

 

oh, i just noticed this thread is g37 specific.. so which sedan models have it? same as g37 models?
