Mrev2 Diy?
Mrev2 Diy?
I've got a 2005 6MT RevUp.
Are there going to be any appreciable HP gains from adding the lower intake manifold from a 2003/2004? I recently got one from a salvage car.
I know that Motordyne uses the 03/04 manifold then gives it a P&P to even out cylinder flow and calls it a MREV. But instead of paying them $400 minus the $100 core couldn't i just take it to a local speed shop, or even die grind it myself? Unless they extrude hone the thing, there isn't much that can't be done at home.
Thoughts, comments on this budget MREV idea?
