Rust in snow areas

Hello everyone,

I got a problem with my G35 coupe. I live in Cleveland and have to deal with some serious snow. I recently observed some rust spots near the doors and all around the car close to the ground. They do go away if I scrub them really hard. I never parked it in the snow, always had the garage, I am thinking it might be from the salt they put on the roads. I do wash it every 2 weeks. I am confused what to do.

Can someone let me know the best way to deal with this. What should I do to protect my car from rust. How much do they charge to clean it.

Please help!!

Thanks,
Hydbadi.

Rust shouldn't go away when you scrub hard. My guess is it's coming from somewhere else and dripping out where you can see it.

Lots of times you'll see chrome and other body trim rusting from the inside out and it'll run onto your paint from there.

your only options are to store it in the winter or move. I grew up in Chicago. Had many midwest cars. If they salt the roads in the winter and you drive it while they are you're done. There is no protection for that and it will eat your car
