I've searched this site and the available 2007 Service manual download.

I just want to verify the following:

1) The front lift / jack point for a diy person with a floor jack is between the front wheels and there is some type of nub, best described as a 3-4" in diameter wart on a metal member. The service manual just circles the general location.

I saw the DIY video with bythebay working on a 2005 (at least I think it was a 2005 sedan) and that is where he lifted the front of the 2005 Sedan. Wondering if that applies to the present gen G35X sedan..

2) The rear lift / jack point for a diy person with a floor jack is the rear differential housing. Again, the service manual just circles the general location.

The DIY video with bythebay in a 05 showed him lifting the sedan using the differential.

I have jack stands with pads so I plan on supporting the car at lift points on the outer edge of the car, after I jack up the car... (Hopefully...)

Any input with those DIY'ers or factory techs is appreciated....
