+++ PDR - "painless dent removal". I had a car that got dented all over by huge hail on the roof, hood, doors, etc. and after PDR you could not see a single dent. Find a good shop that does this and it will be like new. Caveat - if the metal is sharply creased or the paint is cracked it may be more work.

Re : WTF - It's been talked about for years - you put very cold air (e.g. dry ice) on the dent, then heat it and the metal will pop out. I have never seen it happen, and still recommend PDR. inexpensive, and it works.

I've never heard of a dent described as "puck"... the compounded with the "cold air hot air, no more puck" statement - I was totally baffled by what he meant...It several posts to piece it all together... seems like a better description would have resulted in PDR and end of thread.
