New to Forum - Roof Wing/3M tape help.

Hey guys I am new here. I own a g35 '03 red and recently bought a roof spoiler just like the pic below...

Does anyone have any tips on installing it?

I read that people used 3M tapes but I am a little worried if it will eventually come off during high speed chase I bought one from Kragen for $5 but not sure if its the right thing to go with.

Also found "3M Acrylic Foam Double Sided Molding Attachment Tape"
is this any better?

I live in San Diego, can anyone suggest where I can buy the 3M acrylic tape or any other ones?

Thanks for the help!!!!

No worries about the 3M tape not holding. Many members have the roof spoiler and rear lip spoilers affixed with 3M double sided tape.

Roof Spoiler Install....?

So, you purchased this spoiler from Kragen (good price) and it didn't come with the tape required to install? Was it painted to match you LR coupe?
3M double sided tape should keep it from flying off at freeway speeds.

Nah - lol - I got the spoiler from ebay for about $89 but it didn't came with tape. Got it painted, but was a little wary on what tape to use especially with the roof wing to be attached to the back windshield.

I used 3M tape on my wheel emblems after they were black chromed and I painted the plastic cap... granted its center mass, but waayyy high revolutions - they haven’t come off (3 yrs)... I'd say if you use enough (not little slivers here and there) in the right location you will be fine using it on a spoiler.
