Debadging an 06... will it leave marks?

I want to take some badges off my 2006 but im afraid that the paint will be discolored underneath.... what do you guys think? The car spent 06-08 in NY and got transfered here to FL in feb.... then i bought it

i have an 04 DG G35 coupe and i debadged the rear it did have shadowing but went away after a few months..of waxing and washing
