Aerotect clear bra/tinted headlights on a G37
Hi all, I normally post on myG37.com but I thought I would share this with you here also because Aerotect is an official sponsor of G35driver.com.
Some people don't like clear bras, and some like the protection. I'm one of those people who are an advocate of the clear bra direction and, for me, it gives me piece of mind while driving my brand new car. This thread is for those who are maybe interested in a clear bra, and in my opinion, it's definitely worth it. When shopping for a clear bra, it pays to do your research. There's lot's of different films out there and numerous places to get it installed. Anybody can provide you the film, whether it be VentureShield, 3M, or Xpel, but the way I see it, the bulk of the money you pay for a clear bra should be viewed as investing in a professional job on the installation.
I got protection for the hood, bumper, fender, A-pillars, and decided to give my headlights and taillights the treatment, as well.
Here are pics of the various stages of the installation.
