Race Race Race

Ok, I picked up an 05 6Mt with the following mods already done to it.
Intake, Short Throw Shifter and Stillen Exhaust (guy said he had a high performance chip installed...haven't confirmed). Anyway the car sounds nice and everytime I'm at the light or just pulling away and there is a WRX, Evo or Neon SRT nearby they start reving it so I can hear the turbo or supercharger.

I haven't tried racing anyone in fear of two things
A. A nice fat speeding ticket
B. Getting my doors blown off

Should I continue to play it safe or should I JUST GO FOR IT!!!

I hear ya! I'm not into the racing scene but these guys tend to get on my nerves, I guess that kind of attention is to be expected. I'm not interested in racing anyone I just wish they would stop it already

Thanks for the offer but I'm in orlando FL. Besides I was just reffering to cars wanting to race me simply because the G looks fast and sound nice with the exhaust. I've never been into racing, more interested in having a nice looking car than a fast car (just so happens that this car is both)

because they have too much luxury and weight to be considered as sports cars. Sports car does not have back seats.

if all the warnings telling you not to do it don't work.... PLEASE don't race when there are other vehicles out there. just go to some random wide open street

with no one in sight and have at it. that way, you're only putting yourself at risk and no innocent people. oh and about your question, if any of the cars you mentioned

are modded then it's lights out for you most of the time. your mods against those cars stock should take them (not off the line with the evo/sti)
