How much to program intellikey?

How much should I be paying to get one programmed? One dealer quoted me $150... Is that too much?

I paid $60 for all the keys to be reprogrammed at the dealer. Make sure you bring them all at once or the ones you don't bring won't work anymore.

I was also quoted $150 for a programmed key. That included a new iKey and to have it programmed. Not sure from your post, but if you just need your current key reprogrammed, then it should be cheaper. I believe the key is $100, and the programming of it is $50. Perhaps the dealer quoted you a new key w/ programming. Check again.

i spoke w/ another service advisor at the same dealership. I told her that I had a used one that I needed reprogramming and she told me that it would be $175 just to reprogram it... WTF? the other guy told me $150? I'm thinking that I should call customer service to see if I can get and idea of how much it SHOULD cost

I bought the remote and blank key off ebay. Homedepo cut the key for $2.
I took it to a Nissan dealer & reprogram both remotes and 2 keys for $105 Canadian.
