Bringing your parts to a mechanic ?

I would like to buy aftermarket parts such as brakes - rotors and pads (is Hawk good ?)- and have a mechanic install them. How do you find a place that will do this ? I know service centers make money off of parts, so how do they react to this request? Are there common service centers that do this ? I realize I can just start calling around but it would be nice to know the experiences of people that have done this. I know, do it yourself, but I'm an older coot and don't want to do it. I also have a F-150 that I would love to buy aftermarket suspension parts and do the same.

Find out your local area labor charge, i believe most of them run 70-100 per hour.

I would look for some PERFORMANCE shops in your area that have had some experience with G35's or 350z's and get the work done there, probably your best bet. Look in your regional forums or contact someone from your area for recommendations maybe? Best of luck.
