Simply, larger rims will effect acceleration since bigger rims will result in more rotating mass. Larger rims will also result in a crappier ride but 19"s shouldn't be bad. Only plus is that larger rims obviously look better when done tastefully and it improves handling.
Okay guys, this thread is getting out of hand. I've done some pruning of posts, and OP, I deleted the parts of your post that deal with a) "racing" and b) doing 140 mph on the highway. Not okay to cover street racing, and bragging about top speed on the highway is not part of your actual question.
There are (and should) be different opinions on this site, and that leads to better discussion. In general though, let's stay within the topic of G35s in this part of the site, and also avoid going after personalities even if they are way different than yours.
Thanks!

If you are serious about a turbo kit, Performance Factory in Orlando has just completed a custom fab turbo setup for the HR on a 350Z. Should work fine for the G35 - cost 12K. In fact the Z that was done is some kid from Miami.

I don't have the patience to decipher the first post enough to figure out if I have an answer. Honestly, I have no idea what half the questions were.
I did see some comments through the thread and from those I would point you toward the Drag section and possibly the FI section.
I also saw a statement about people not saying things in person or something of sort. Well, no, I wouldn't but I also wouldn't talk to you for more than a moment. If I heard someone speaking how you wrote, I would find the fastest reason to be somewhere else before my head started hurting. Generally, you get further in life if you are articulate and well spoken. Right, wrong or indifferent people WILL and DO judge you by your appearance and speech.

mod: was the censorship really necessary? just curious. the OP asked questions in one manner and kinda deserved the responses he got *shrug*
miamilovin': don't just lower it for looks. if you drop, please try to keep some sense of handling in mind. dumped = craptastic accelleration, btw. you don't give the back end anywhere to go.
instead of modding the car, go take some courses in high perf. driving. something along the lines of skip barber, etc. it's a far better investment than physical mods, and the knowledge/ability you gain can be transferred from car to car. make yourself a better driver first because i guarantee that you're the weaker link in the car + man equation right now.
g and a 600rr seems like a better choice than g + twin turbo kit lala

I'm not stupid enough to weave through traffic street racing.
Don't come crying to us when you total your car, or get it impounded and lose your license.
Like you said, you've almost hit the curb twice, and you've had the car how long now?
I've yet to lose it in my car outside of a track.

All that being said, this is not an advanced driver thread... I'd be more than happy to accomodate you if you want to join us on a track day and see what fast driving is all about.
this is what happens when parents buy their spoiled immature brats expensive/fast cars......Retarded-a$$ drivers like yourself deserve whatever consequences you suffer(hopefully you dont). Look in your rearview my friend.....look in your rearview

The rest of the stuff? I personally try to let things run without intervention, because it's a forum; people get to speak their mind, and should be able to do so without hindrance. However, when the threads get too far off-topic for the particular board, and the main point of posts is to bash another poster, it's a problem. More far-flung topics can land in the Off-Topic forum if someone wants to pursue non-'07 G35 sedan discussions.
Peace
youre the dude who deleted my shake posts.
you gonna delete this too? its got to do with the thread =) watch.
OP, why dont you wait until some more r&d is done on FI kits for the 2nd gen sedans.

plus, now this is another free chance to reiterate: driving school ftw
track time, some instruction... really the best thing you can do for yourself. it's how people in otherwise craptastic cars can and do blow by folks in much more capable vehicles
