your not the only one. I have tuition to pay, my car note, some other bills and I still find time to mod my G a lil bit here and there...I still dont have rims yet..which I want right now. I'm gonna be saving forever lol
I"d be driving a cheaper car if I was only making a G a month.
Try to be conservative about modding or it might get out of hand...that never happends around here does it?????

If everything goes well, I'm about to put a few G's into modding.
But in general, I don't see putting more than 10k into a G35. Might as well save that money and use it to upgrade to a better car later

seriously... wait until you have a mortgage, home insurance, car insurance, other housing costs (gas, electricity, maint, etc), pay for your own fuel, groceries, phone bill, etc etc...
boo hoo for being 18 without any money to mod.

^ why wouldn't you pay for those expenses? that's not "boo-hoo", that's reality. are you making car payments as well, or did you save up and pay cash for your G?
you could get a new job - one that pays more than $1K/mo - to help supplement your modding, if that really is a priority for you.
or another thought: sell the G, buy a nice 240sx (for example) and with the $10-15K left over mod the 240 to your heart's delight.
