Just a thought... E Brakes?

I use to drive a 5MT Scion TC, and I always hit the Emergency Brakes (while idling on neutral and parked.) But ever since I got my G35 5AT, I haven't used it once.. maybe cause its an AT? Does anybody ever use their E Brakes (both AT and MT.) I'm not an idiot so of course I would use the E Brake while parked on a slopped hill the thought just occurred in my head. and sorry if anybody ever posted about this in the past!!

When I drive my work car (MT), I use the e-brake while in neutral at lights. Both of our other Infinitis (AT) foot brake.

...you bought an AT. Why're you trying to drift it? Besides, use the manual shift mode and these cars have plenty-enough power to just light up the rear tires.

My post never said anything about drifting, fail at being a smart ***... if you read correctly, I stated has anybody "used" their E brakes ever since they bought it AT or MT

i rarely use it unless im parked on a steep hill. i dont see it being that functional at a stop light because it is a pedal e-brake. (5AT) theres a better chance of more MT drivers using their e-brake cause atleast there a handle.

I use it to see if taillight mods are working - because unfortunately they do something different in park than when in gear (while car is running)... I have to put the car in drive and reverse to check them and the E brake in the only way I can see for myself...

Other than that I don’t think I've ever used it (other than inclined parking as others have stated). With past MTs I've always used it every time I parked.

You win at being a *******.

Looking back at it now, I'm assuming he was just trying to be funny, though.

I use my brake when I'm at a stop light, and my e-brake when I park.

The only time I use my E-break is when I park on a incline.
