I presume your asking about gen 2 sedan... if so - sedan for sure... I've driven them both (when they first came out) and the G37 was far less than impressive (didn’t live up to my expectations at all)... and the sedan was very much above my expectations - so much so in fact that I contemplated getting rid of the 04 and getting the 07... The sedan is a very fine choice.

If you like coupe - I'd wait and see if/when an OEM FI version comes out (within the next couple or years IMO).

isnt the the g35 sedan going to become the g37 sedan? just get the sedan then, unless as stated above infiniti gives the g37 coupe a power upgrade. imo the sedan looks more aggressive.

sedan! I got a 2007 sedan. I got a 2003 coupe. My wife says the 2007 sedan feels faster than the coupe?! Damn coupe! I need a vortech supercharger in that thing! She does say that the g37 look sexier than the g35 sedan. So the coupe will get more looks. Its not like everyone looks at my 2007 sedan, but damn a lady at the car wash asked if I was driving a nissan Altima!?! And I got g37 wheels on the sedan! You will never mistake a coupe for an altima or maxima.. Just what I came across in the last year of owning the newer sedan...

G37 was very disappointing in terms of performance when I drove it... granted, it was a prerelease car, but I doubt anything is different on the performance end.

The 07 sedan on the other hand surprised me in terms of performance…

I’d suggest a sedan, or wait to see whats next…

3.7 liter vs 3.5 liter

3.7 has way more potential.

I'm fully aware of the engines in each car

I'm giving my opinion... have you driven both??? The G37 was way disapointing to me... I had much more expectation and it just didnt deliver. Not to meention I dont prefer its stying and its heavy... Its not worth getting IMO.

Don't be afraid to go with the sedan.
