Dammit

Some focker hit my bumper (I assume with his license plate since I see a little bolt-like indentation) It's small but it bugs the hell out of me, I called my dealership and they said that they do have liquid platinum touch up paint available, so my question is, will that fix it or do is there something else you recommend?

Sorry about the bad pic quality, took the images with the blackberry.

Same thing happened to me. I got marks just like that nice and long on the corner of my bumper. I figured somebody must've been careless with their shopping cart and accidently hit my car. I got a touch up paint pen from dealership and fixed it up. It was better than nothing . Can't justify getting whole bumper repainted, but at least the touch up pen is still holding. They come with clear coat on one side and paint on the other.

the only thing I can suggest (other than OEM touch-up) - is find a local Auto Paint supplier and ask them for referral for touch up painter...

I found a local guy that does touch up with OEM touchup paint from an airbrush and then he blends and polishes - once complete you never know anything happened.

It’s a better alternative to painting the entire bumper for 2 reasons: cost, and color match.

I got lucky finding the guy I use... but I figured you might want to try in your area and see if something similar happens for you.

Good luck
