I can't open mine if the doors are locked
. I've always thought it was annoying as hell since other cars I've had let you do that. I don't remember if my '04 let me do it or not.

If I am sitting inside the car with the doors locked and I pull the lever to open the door the lock will move to the unlock position and the door will open too... Our Nissan Maxima does this, and same with the mazda 6 rental we had.
I always try that in every car for some reason.

Eh any car I've ever had minus this one would let me open it when locked even if you were doing 90+.... usually only the back seats won't open when locked, but the fronts will. Never understood why minus child protection type stuff.
