04 Copue converting 7443 to 7440 bubls

I am replacing my front turn signal bulbs to 7443 to 7440 and i have the 04 headlights.

Would it do anything bad to the car?

So you only want the bulb to turn on when blinking right?

You might have to grind off a rib from the bulb's socket for it to seat completely. Compare the old bulb's socket with the new one and you'll see what I mean. Use a fine grit grinding stone on a Dremel tool to do it.

The link above might be a better option than using a different bulb.
