Which one's faster: '09 G37 sedan or '08 G37 coupe?

I know the coupes have always weighed more, and im willing to bet your right that it will still be more than the G37 sedan. According to the OP's figures the coupe weighs 136lbs more than the G35. As long as the 3.7 isnt all that much heavier than the 3.5 and they dont add too much more other weight, it should still be lighter. The G37 convertible will most likely weigh the most, im guessing close to 3800lbs.

I think both have VQ37VHR ....and so it depends on the driver ?

A good driver is always key and yes they will have the same 3.7L engine. But two excellent drivers may have limiting factors in one or the other cars such as: transmission gearing, the final drive in each of the cars with both the 7AT/6MT, and then of course the weight difference.
