Good luck with heat soak when it gets hot there! One of the reasons the stock box makes the power it does is it's a sealed box (for the most part) that builds pressure and keeps out the heat.

Very good point! Thus is the advantage to having an extra set of (un-cut) intake boxes ready to slap into the engine bay at a moments notice! i forgot to mention that for any n00bs out there...

...when you take a girl out on a first date and even though everything went well and the sex was great, you find makeup stains all over your gray leather passenger seat and that's enough for you to never talk to her again...

..You detail it, then won't drive it because there's chance of rain.

if you detailed and waxed it good enough, the rain should just bead right off and leave no spots. i detailed mine a couple days ago, drove through a storm, and by the time i got where i wanted to go, my car still looked good as new

Same. They're a pain to keep clean

Having dust-free brake pads helps.

With the OEM brakes, I could drive 60 miles, swipe my finger across the IP lip and leave a clearly visible mark
