when you think the cars in first gear and keep revving it at a green light

 

When people look at your JDM badging and ask you "Is this a real GT-R?"

 

when a friend at school compliments your ride, even though they own an m3 lowered w/ rims and exhaust

 

When you have a hard time knowing how much oil you have with the dipstick.

 

When change falls out of your right pocket and you automatically think "f*ck it, it's lost"...

 

So true!

I work at circuit city as a simple associate on JUST the weekends and I drive a nicer car than our store director

I'll add mine:

-When you volunteer to be DD to a club just to show off the car

 

haha all you have to do is walk past the open door and the breeze from walking by will cause the door to shut

 

oo weve all been there , lol

 

I stay away from that....first car got completly jacked up from some buddies throwing up all over it

 

When you bust a nut every time you start the car.

 

when you passengers get out with a smile on their face

the comments lately have been along the lines of "you know what's REALLY nice about your car? you can actually HEAR IT!"

and i have to agree, it's starting to show it's age, paint's wearing, leather's worn, front plate cover won't stay in place etc. (have to say, i've been lucky and haven't had any of the common big problems), but damn does it sound good!

 

you are sick of people complementing you on your ride

 

when you scope out for the best parking spot at a super market, which takes 20 mins before parking, and worry about it when u leave ur G

When you let your buddy (who just bought an 08' R32 golf) drive your car while hes lookin after your dog, while youre out of town, and you get back and he says "Mannnnnnnnn... you wanna trade cars!?"

 

I don't know about you guys but I do this.
I park between two empty spaces (unless the lot is packed) so I can actually open my door

which means i need 3 open spots to park lol
