Rotors Question

So...my car came with 4 brand new Rotars. They are stoptech is that considered a good brand?

I have a 2005 G coupe with 19's stock sports wheels. When i was changing the breaks yesterday I couldnt change the rotars for the front because they were smaller then the original. Does that mean they dont fit the car or sports ones are smaller? Or I have a feeling its for the 4 door sedan or sedan with AWD. Any ideas? They are brand new and i want to sell them since they dont fit.

So let me get this straight, reading your story it sounds like you have the OEM rotors on your car now and some Stoptech's sitting aside just begging to go in. First off, yes Stoptechs are GREAT rotors. Now, since you said the Stoptechs are smaller than the OEM rotors it sounds like they gave you the 03 or 04 Non-Brembo rotors. I don't know about the 05 but the 06/07 sports model came with a larger diameter rotor.....I'm 99% sure the 05's did too.

05 awd sedan has the smaller rotors also. Your stock rotors should measure over 12" and I am assming the stoptechs only measure about 11.4" across.

Yeah thats what I am thinking. because they also gave me 4 break pads, and the front ones did not fit mechanic said they were smaller, thats why I had to get OEM from everything g35 site. But the rear break pads did fit because they are smaller, so i am assuming the rotars might fit as well cause they are smaller and might be same size as 03,04 or AWD, but i didnt try to install them cause the rear ones are fine. Now when I tried installing the front ones at the mechanic yesterday...he said they are too small just like what he said about the break pads for the front.

How can I find out what car they fit?
