^ So is HKCHEF a nod to Segal in Under Seige?? Or am I way off?? The first thing I thought of was Casey Rybeck.

I have no idea if you can lock that compartment, but I'm glad someone else is an HK fan.
Do you have any rifles?

If you need something close I would suggest what the forum members have already said, the upper cubby and the place where the first aid kit goes. If you are willing to invest more time in getting the goods in and out of the car, then I would suggest looking in your trunk area next to the spear tire, there is a plastic molding that can be removed and there is a pretty good amount of space in there.

If you are out and about why not use a smaller hand gun and use an ankle holster, that what I do when I need to carry a CW.

Good luck.

man...this is why the US scares me a little. This kinda talk would NEVER occur in Canada amongst standard residents.

Ok, HK stands for Heckler & Koch a German firearms company, it has nothing to do with Steven Segal.

I do have a license to carry, the criteria I am looking for is a hiding place or locked place that is either very secure or very unfamiliar for thieves. The reason for this for those of you who are unfamiliar with carry laws, you can't take the gun anywhere so a good spot in the car is paramount to me.

The most important thing about this spot is its accessibility, which means it needs to be in the front of the car not in the trunk or back seat.

What I have been considering,

- Cubby above glove box with lock
- Velcro neoprene holster under dash

So I could talk about guns all day but I want to keep this on topic, if you have any HK related questions just PM me.

I got them from a local dealer, you should try CDNN.com and also HKPRO.com

Hkpro is a information site for HK

CDNN is a online gun dealer.

Yes but its a .22 and half pistol, but I am trying to purchase a class three rifle in the near future.
