Useless Card Holder above driver door

who cares why anyone wants something different on their G??? I've done over $20K worth of changes to my car that other people may not consider...
If someone wants to replace a cardholder that they don’t use for something else - so be it.
Frankly, some of the responses here about why it shouldn’t be considered are pitiful.

It always amazes me when someone asks a question like "can I..." or "will this work..." or "has this been done..." and everyone starts offering advise about why it is a stupid idea. Heck, just answer the question DIRECTLY or don't post! Like mine, I asked about painting options for my new bodykit and got several responses about the pieces I bought not going to look good together! WTF?!?! I didn't ask if THEY would like the looks of the kit, just about painting!!!
Anyhow, I miss the handle above my door and I know what you mean about resting the hand there. I didn't do it always, but on a long trip it is nice to have options for hand/arm placement! I always assumed it would cost too much for my interests, but keep us informed on what you find out!

I doubt they make a different headliner for RHD models... You should be able to fir an oh sh*t handle there without a problem. And if you're worried about price, look for a totaled G. I doubt the handle has been damaged in any of them.
I sometimes wish I had something to grab to help me get myself up when I'm trying to get out of my car... especially when I'm injured or even just tired as hell after a long day or a long drive. But it's just too much hassle for something I don't really need. And plus, I actually use the card holder every now and then.

Best way to avoid this is to make your OWN decisions...

This is the first mod I did in 2003.
I can't speak to later cars, but the 2003 headliner is cut for and has mounting studs for the handle hiding under the credit card holder over the driver door. The handle is exactly the same for the passenger side. Go to the dealer and order up a handle for the passenger side and install it. This is an easy five minute job.
