Goodbye to my G
Goodbye to my G
I am letting my G35 go after only 6 months. I realized that I need something more practice. I am getting married, I have a 100lb black lab, I drive a commute daily to work and winters can suck. I have been really happy with this, but BYE BYE on friday and hello 2009 Toyota Sport Runner.
I was upset at first, I went around to 3 dealers and at best I was offered 20500 for a trade. Now I only have 25K on the clock. Well I took an offer at 19,500 on a trade (told the dealer about the OC and that it was scheduled to get fixed when I was available). He said don't worry about it, dropped the trade down a grand, which was shocking. Then again now I don't have to make a 5 hour round trip to the dealer to get the engine done (twice). Plus with that deal on the trade he gave me $1000 under invoice. All said, It will be $31,000 OTD with my payoff in.
I feel I made the right choice, but I will miss the G.

My wife's first car was a 4 Runner and that thing is a beast, size and room wise, compared to a G but it's a good one
