Keyless Entry / TPS strange problems

Lately I've been having some strange problems with my G's keyless entry system and TPS....

Up until 2-3 months ago everything was working fine, no problems what so ever. Well I took the car on vacation about 300 mile drive and when I get there my keyless entry doesn't work any more. So after playing around, I bought a new battery, still nothing. Then it randomly decides to start working again and it's been this way on and off for a few months. I've actually stopped trying to use it most of the time. When I can get it to work it's completely random, I have to push and hold the button I want down and then push it a bunch of times to get it to work. I've tried the three different remotes that I had with my car and all do the same thing. I've tried to reprogram them, but it acts like there's no remote.

Also, sometimes on a 30-40 mile trip on the highway the TPS light will come on, I'll shut off the car and it will pop back on. I know somehow these two systems are related.

I'd hate to start throwing parts at it not knowing what will fix it.

It's an 04 sedan.

Any ideas?

i think that the 2 systems use the same reciever, maybe theres something wrong with that? i kno that after about 30 miles my TPS light comes on, but i dont have rims with the TPS sensors. when i restart the car, it goes off though.
