Considering This G35 Need Advice

I found this G35 on craigslist and was interested in what you guys thought?

Im new to this forum but def. am a fan of the G.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/cto/893614622.html

I called the guy today and he told me that the roof was replaced do to a roll over.
He said the airbags did not deploy and that there was no frame damage.

Im assuming this guy is a nurse of some sorts because when i spoke to him he was at a hospital and was gonna be there all day.

Now i know many of you may say never get a salvage title but my car is almost about to break down earlier then i had hoped so just wanted to get everyones 2 cents on this, thank you.

he said he lowered the price to 15.5k but i was thinking i could get him down to 14k maybe.

Walk away from the car, no run. That is way too much for a car that had it's roof replaced and was in a roll over.

Run as fast as you can... If a roof is damaged i believe the car should have been totaled

Maybe get the car if you just plan on making it a weekend warrior but not if it will be your daily driver

The car looks nice but being salvage is another question. Might give you a headache sooner than you think.

Bone Out

Just think of the type of forces which could have led to this G turning upside down. Its not like a Jeep where you just make a sharp turn and it flips. I can't think of any easy ways to flip a G. And maybe the fact that it was flipped could possibly tell you a little about how the gem was driven. There are tons of good deals out there, especially if you wait to pounce on the right one.

FYI if you have a salvage title it means the car was classified as totaled. And if you buy that car you'r throwing your money away literaly. If you plan on keeping the car forever it's a little bit different. All in all it's not a good idea

+1. Rolled over? Yikes. You'd have to pay me $$$ to even consider it.
