Considering This G35 Need Advice
Never buy a car with salvage title. The insurance companies already paid off on this car once. Because it's a salvage title ins co will not give you same level of value as a non salvaged title. Plus as others on this board have said you don't know what other problems may be lurking.
Suggest you keep looking.

definitely steer clear of that... flipped? he probably ran that engine to the max, hittin them corners as hard as hell. Some part of the frame must still be damaged from a turned car...
If you just wanna race it or whatever then it might be fine. Need to check the frame. It is a UNIBODY that means a whole **** load of sheet metal welded together. so if it is crumpled anywhere, hard as hell to fix, probably will never be the same. And again if you plan on racing it engine wear doesnt play as much a role cuz you probably would be boring the cylinders and rebuilding.
But 14 is still a steep price for a salvaged title. Especially a flipped car.

Very steep of PRICE ask him what happened drive it around you never know it might still be good. My G's salvage title, some mom was just dumb and hit another car not looking. No frame damage just new light and hood... it depends what you really want. Just get the price a lot lower and drive that thing for a while see how it feels.
Salvage doesn't mean it was totaled... does it? I thought that there were some light damage cars (Theft or small accident) that are salvage. But rolling it bro? That's bad. He either took a turn going 100(which he would probably be dead) or smashed it into a curb or ditch which would **** the unibody up. There probably is frame damage.
From a different vantage point, if the car was damaged to this extent, the integrity of it's safety features has already been compromised. Even if all the airbags work and the repairs done, most cars once damaged to this level have some level of safety compromised to the extent that they may not show up right away--- but, one accident could reveal what lies beneath. You have to imagine the car from the view that it's designed as a whole (sort of like a raw egg). I would never suggest I'm a car expert, but this a logical conclusion that other guys here could better flesh out or refute.
also imagine... our cars are unibody frames which are meant to absorb impact and crush in certain place in order to protect the driver. So if it is crushed at the designed crush points of the frame then its almost irreparable...
the unibody frame is completely different than a full frame. If our cars had a full frame then it would be certainly ok to buy the car as repairs would be much more complete, could be almost like new.

So did you end up buying this car? I'm just curious about the outcome. I think there were some very good points made here. A-too much $ for a salvage title. B-salvage does NOT means totalled, but flipping a G???WTF was he doing, rock climbing? C-if you plan to track it, probably ok salvaged, but again too much $ for it. D-if you are patient you will find a good car for your
. E-Once a unibody is crumpled, that's a point of no return=problems later. F-no warranty, and probably no loan, so you better have cash...to pay for the rest of the problems later too. So what's the status capt'n?
