Thanks for the suggestions. I told them about the new engine/tranny. I have to submit the paperwork on Mon, but they guy on the line didn't sound too helpful, like it might not make much of a difference. He said the rest of the car still has 65K miles.

Not sure about the valuation, I'll try to get more info. He said he check by VIN and added all the option minus the 6mt. I told hime about the factory Nismo body kit and said that doesn't matter because the car has to have a bumper anyways???? Sounded lame.

^ That's pretty lame of them, how can you have a bumper if it's already damaged to pieces i hope you have the original sticker to proof them, good luck man i hope you get as much as possible from them.

PM me some details on the company and the valuation they give you. Estimators miss options ALL THE TIME and sometimes they can add a substantial amount of money, same with the condition ratings. Also, the engine and trans get entered as refurbishments and will increase the value. And a ground effects kit if factory is not the same as a bumper and may also add value.

The way they made it sound, it doesn't matter what bumper I had. The car is supposed to have a bumper regardless. Meanwhile, when I bought the car the Nismo kit was a ~$2,500 line option that was above and beyond the price of the car. So the way they made it sound, I'm only getting credit for the standard body. I do have the original sticker and it clearly shows "AERODYNAMIC BODY KIT (w/ SPOILER) $2,910.00

I remember configuring a fully loaded '05 G online the year after mine and it was cheaper due to the lack of the kit.

Thanks, I've always said that that I think luxury cars are built better for accidents and accident avoidance. It's a shame that you have spend a lot more to keep yourself safe. That said I'm glad I bought one.

Hopefully the ins co will take care of things, so as to not insult to unjury. Pun intented.

Thanks, Solekeeper, I'm gonna miss it. I was special....to me at least. I rarely see any sedans on the road out here that are modded so I would get some looks. Esp from the coupe and 350z guys when they saw my Brembos.

Sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you're still alive. It seems like you need to get a lawyer to deal with your insurance, so you can get back as much as you can. Does your neck hurt by any chance?

Thanks, I'm glad I'm alive too. Dying would have really screwed up my day, lol. Actually I did get a lawyer. I am still in pain, but it's better than last week. Neck, upper back, chest, knees (mostly right knee & shin) and I got a nasty bruise from the seatbelt. Now I know why cars are starting to include knee airbags, I could have used them that night.
