There is actually no other debris that hit the fender wells at all. Or side skirts.

This is ttranks car. He actually had fresh paint to protect. Any rock chips would stick out on a black car. What do you have to say to him? That he is missing leaves?

I've never seen anyone do this for regular travel.
I have seen it at an autocross.

smart move but, for dropped cars lower bumper parts n grill n such,

BUT NOone can explain me the huge rock dent on my hood close to the windsheild, with chipped paint.

Learn from mistakes, Just blue tape it =]

yes, and well he shows his car where its judged based on appearance and urs isnt. i could honestly care less what you do with taping ur car. ur the one who looks like a smurf. im fine with a little wear in my fender wheels

Unless it's a show car or has some type of custom paint; then it's the equivalent of leaving that protective plastic covering on your new cell phone screen. That's so cool I see everybody doing that too....

Not my taste to tape it personally, but if it works for you then more power to you. Have you considered some of the tape they use when they ship new cars? It looks more purposeful than the blue painters tape you're using and it'll probably give you more protection. Here's a link: Auto Transport Protective Film
