Extended Warranties

Im looking to get my car covered for additional years beyond the factory warranty
I was wondering what the best third party warranties available on the internet or elsewhere for used Gs . Anyone has any kind of experiences dealing with companies like warrantydirect for their Gs ?

you might be able to get through your local infiniti dealership. that would be the only method that I would trust.

My mom was burned by a third party company going out of business. We have been too! I've been waiting 3 years for the bankruptcy court to finalize everything to see if I get any money back. I did all the research and thought I picked one that could never go out of business. Nope, they were just like the rest of them.

Extended warranties are just insurance. They are not for everyone, but if you can afford it they provide peace of mind and allow you to pre-plan an expense vs getting caught off guard with a big repair bill in the future. I have an Infiniti extended warranty. Based on the number of miles I drive I am covered for 4 years past the regular warranty. I have used mine twice now and have 2 years left on the warranty.

definetly get the infiniti extended warranty because that will be much more mod friendly. third parties dont like modding at all and ccan give you a very hard time

it depends on the price of the warranty.

If the warranty is say...$3000 then dont do it. Realistically your car wont break down enough for you to break even.

Sure you may have minor problems here and there but I dont think the extended warranty is a good deal at all unless its a really good deal

I purchased the Nissan north America extended warranty for $2000 about 6 months ago. Shortly after I had a wheel bearing go bad on me, Infiniti blammed it on my wheels and suspension not being stock. I am running z springs and oem rays 19 coupe wheels so everything is Nissan. Anyways to make a long story short they quoted me almost $900 for the repair and Infiniti cosumer affairs did nothing to help. Ended up taking it to a local shop good as new for $249 out the door.

Dont waste your money on extended warranties.

And anyone in GA do not do business with Roswell Infiniti!

The dealerships will bug you about mods during the normal warranty period too. One of the risks associated with changing the car unfortunately. If the car has lots of mods extended warranty does not make sense in my opinion.
