MREV2 with spacer will give the revup 2 hp and 15lbs of torque to the wheels, so it all evens back out... it won't work that great on the other motors btw...

Get the revup!

And whomever thinks you won't feel the difference between the different motors is trippin

Well, I obviously would like to, but there is a substantial price difference when you start looking at those years. It looks like I will probably just end up getting an 03 or 04 just because they are quite a bit more affordable. I guess there is still a pretty good chance that I could afford an 05 because I did see a few that were in my price range, but barely. This has been a great thread guys, thanks to all.

I was in the same dilemma about two weeks ago. 05 BS 6MT w/ 40k miles for $17.9k and then I saw a steal...an 03 DG 5AT w/ 56k miles for $11.9k, thats a $6k difference. I had to jump on it. I really wanted the 6MT, trust me, i'm a manual type of driver, but i couldnt justify $6k LoL. Go where your wallet will take you...comfortably.

Thats a hell of a deal. I bought A 04 last year before the price drops so I got screwed. I paid 22k for a 04 with ever option and nav. I thought it was a good deal at the time, but times have really changed, I wish I had done more research and waited.

Wow that 05 for that price was a pretty good deal, but yeah 11.9 for the loaded 04 would be hard to pass up. Great find!

I just picked up a 07 G35S w/ Nav, Premium, and Tech package for 25k + Tax and Title. Do some looking and you can get a good deal out there in these tough times.

I was always thinking that if I got a non rev up model for a couple thousand cheaper I could more easily afford a nice vortech kit, but lately it seems prices have really come down and the 05's are getting a little more affordable. Hmm looks like I got some serious thinking to do. Thanks guys.

I'd say go where your budget takes you. You won't miss what you don't have. The new interior only affects you if you know the difference between the two. As for the HP diff, if you're used to driving an 05+ then you'll probably notice the difference. If not, then how will you ever know other than someone telling you it "feels" different. Some things (small bits like head and tail lights) are interchangeable. However, if you haven't been studying these cars for quite some time, you can't even tell the difference. I know I couldn't.

At the end of the day, 03-07 are ALL great cars in their own right. Don't stress your budget out for some bezels and HID's.
