advice on buying a g35 online

i was thinking about flying out to this dealership to buy this really sweet lookin 2006 g35 with 13k miles for around 20k. I checked the history and it says it was a "Fleet, rental and/or lease use record(s)". I read about the OC issue with these cars and i'm thinking if it was a rental it probably wasn't driven too well. The car's warranty should be good for a long time.

I was planning on getting the vehicle inspected before I head out there.

Also the seller has 100% feedback, the link:

such low mileage Gs will almost always be lease returns..definitely get it inspected .being a lease could sometimes also mean that the owner has kept it well because there are clauses that make the renter pay for any kind of damage to the car or engine..(Excessive Wear and Tear) so they tend to be driven decently

I still have my carfax subscription from buying my G35. The full carfax says that it is a lease vehicle first sold on 11/22/05. So the basic warranty would be up in 11 months.

I'm more concerned with the powertrain warranty. that should be up in 6 years/70k miles from 11/2005 right?

Right, all the warranties would begin on 11/22/05 from what I understand.

BTW, might want to check out the seller's website. Some people have items for more on Ebay because they want to make up for some of the Ebay charges. Also gives an idea of what the reserves might be if they don't want to tell you.

um...seems like a really good deal...

i paid 27.500 for my g in NJ 16k miles it was an 07 with navi / loaded.....

this deal sounds amazing...but one of the first things you learn in business school is that "a very low price usually scares away customers"...

the warranty starts from the first service date i think...as in the first time it is brought in for something under the warranty.....at least i think that....but im a noob, so who knows...

warranty starts from the day it was driven out of the showroom. Even though mines an 06 , the warranty started from sep 06. turns out it was a late 06
