Thought I remembered that you can cycle through the various unlock/lock indicator settings (Lights, horn, etc.) by pressing some combination of the buttons on the remote? Maybe you press both lock and unlock at the same time or something? If you search you can probably find it.

If you're car is still locking and unlocking remotely but the indications are just different than what they used to be, my guess is that you somehow advanced the settings to the next options by accidentally pressing the remote key combo.

I remember pressing the lock button once the horn will not honk, but pressing it twice will. I'm not sure if the lights blinked when I unlocked it though. I've had my aftermarket alarm on my car for some time now and this is what I vaguely remember.

You can program w/the key fob. Hold the two keys down at the same time and the sequence with change between beep and no beep.
