Rear facing car seat in G35 Coupe

When I had my rear facing in my G, it was a graco and it fit well. The only thing i had to do was leave the passengre headrest raised, and then lift the lip of the seat as the passenger seat was returned to the original position. The lip sat on the top of the passenger seat under the headrest, and it did two things.
1. Prevented it from rubbing and pressing against the back seat, allowing my passenger to sit all the way back.
2. secured the seat from up and down movements.
I now have a regular (graco) child seat for my daughter. I went to babies r us and when talking to them and selecting the right seat, the employee actually went out with me with the seats to see how they would fit in the car before buying it!
Good luck! I used the G to transport my daughter, knowing it was safer all around than my Silverado...

I know it's not a coupe but I just had my first and I have a Graco in an 05x. The passengers seat has to be way up in order for it to fit properly. I actually considered trying the seat in the middle (back seat) just to see if there is a little more room, if I do that I'll get back to you. All they tell you is that they recommend you put the child seat behind one of the front seats, it's not against the law to put it in the middle. The poor kid is only a week old and I'm already looking forward to the day he gets to turn the car seat around and face forward.

Do you have pics of the rear facing seat in your coupe? What model was the seat?
