2005 G35 Coupe, what should I offer?
Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to this forum, but I am very interested in buying a g35. I basically decided to mainly search for a 2005 g35 coupe MT and I found one on craigslist. The guy is asking for 21,000 and its graphite with about 32000 miles on it. I was thinking about going to check it out, but if it is in good condition what is a reasonable price that I should be paying for it?
Thanks for the help.

Thot I'd approach this from a different angle. This is just me but I would seriously hesitate before buying a used Coupe.... Coupe drivers tend to be very hard on their cars and what may look good can hide problems in the drivetrain due to being throttled heavily. In the city I often see coupe drivers doing figure 8's on abandoned off-roads, speeding, throttling their car, at the track somewhere racing a Lancer Evo, BMW 335 or or Mustang.
Much of this won't show up on an inspection by your mechanic or on Carfax, but oftentimes emerges as the car "prematurely" ages (kinda like what tobacco does to the lungs even tho the face may still look young and fresh). I'm not suggesting all coupe drivers drive like NASCAR racers, but a good percentage do.
Most will disagree with me, but this is based on experience and observation.

To the OP, just do your research, aim low, since car sales are low and it's still Winter, worst case another one will come up. GL
21K for 323K miles graphite... Not bad? But it is depends for you if you offer your car for cost of 21K only...

Not as a direct attack, but you're basically saying that any used coupe is hazardous. It's smart to be patient/careful and to do inspections and research on the car to find as much history and any potential problems as possible, but just ruling out every coupe because it's geared more for people who will beat on their cars is a little extreme IMO.
