Dealer or used car lot?

JMO, no matter what the deal or how good the car looks;
Have it inspected by an independant mechanic that knows Nissan/Infiniti cars.
It can save a lot of heartache later.

My apologies, I edited the first post with trim details. The car is loaded with sport package and navi.

Try to talk them down more. Always try to talk them down more even if its 16,500. Doesn't hurt.

Dealers are begging to sell cars. No one is buying right now. Its without a doubt a buyers market so take advantage of it and get a good deal on a nice car.

Car has just been recently reduced and repriced from $19,500 to $17,988. The car is indeed really clean. I've been trying to do some work on the sales manager but hes firm on 18K. He threw out dealership fees etc. and whathaveyou to get me the OTD price of $18,300. I would really like to purchase the car in the range of $17-17,500 but at this point it doesnt seem realistic as I've seen similar cars go for that 19K range originally listed.

the g's are still selling pretty good. i was able to talk down my 03 coupe 4k. they said they would not move the price its firm. i went there two days later with cash 4k under there otd price and they took it whithout any questions. they were happy so see it go. its a buyers market and cash is king. i say if you go there with a casheirs check for 16.5k you will be leaving with the car and title no questions asked! good luck on the buy. just got mine friday and it is the best choice ive made. i love the thing so much!
