I was driving home this past Friday listening to my Ipod through the FM adapter and had to crank the radio to max just to hear the music. I'm guessing that generated a ton of heat and....

The HU/AC Controls and the dash lights all blew at the same time. I've since checked every fuse (all three boxes) and they're all fine. I've read other threads about the control board going out but I didn't see anyone that had the dash issue.

I'm currently looking to buy someones used OEM non Bose HU and AC controller but I'm unsure if this will fix my dash light issue when replaced.

Any advice?

 

I had the same problem once, turned out to be a fuse labled "mirror" so some how that is connected

Holy crap, that was the culprit!

Why would they call it the "mirror" fuse when it's connected to the dash lights/radio/AC?
