I searched and didn't find this posted yet. This is not meant to start a "best oil" thread . If you are interested in saving $10 on Mobil 1 then read on, otherwise read no further.

For a limited time (get it now if you want it). If you go to the Mobil 1 web site http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/.../Homepage.aspx there is a rebate that you can get towards a future purchase of 5 quarts of Mobil 1 oil products or oil change service. You need to fill out a form kind of like a online contest before you can download the rebate form. Apparently Hurricane Ike caused a shortage and they would like to maintain their customer base.

"Thank you for your patience and loyalty to the Mobil 1 brand.
In order to recieve your $10 rebate offer, send in this form
with proof of purchase of five quarts of Mobil 1 or a Mobil 1 oil
change service made between April 1 and August 31, 2009.
All Mobil 1 motor oil products, including Mobil 1 Extended
Performance, Mobil 1 High Mileage and Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel
Economy, are eligible. Limit two rebates per household."

 

Awesome, I'm a Penzoil FULL Synthetic user (after reading the countless threads saying Mobil 1 isn't a full synthetic (or for memory, just the US ones), but this is an awesome deal for any of you Mobil 1 users! Thank for posting!
