ha... the G35 "Sport" Suspension is a complete joke. And if you do get the sport package on the G, it is equivalent to the "Track" edition of the Z, which also comes with an "upgraded" suspension, so either way, the Z wins.

The G looks better and is more practical than the Z. The Z performs a LITTLE better, assuming the drivers could max out the potential of the car.

Do you know how ridiculously hard it is to even max out the potential of even a 130 hp car?

The Performance G is one of the most balanced cars I've ever seen in terms of the usability as a daily driver, sexiness, and performance.

Unless you have spent years mastering how to race, and I don't mean drag racing (leave that to the muscle cars), then saying a Z is superior to a G is like saying using a Spalding instead of a Wilson basketball will make you play like Michael Jordan - when in reality both basketballs are pretty much identical.

Your love for the G doesn't make it handle better. If you take any driver and put them in either car, they will do better in teh Z around a road coarse. Handling isn't a matter of a opinion. Driver skill is debatable, but the Z was built to outhandle the G. I don't think anyone thinks the Z is a "better car". It just handles better. The End.

The Z most likely sacrifices a more comfortable ride with it's stiffer handling.

true, but that's not what the OP asked... he simply asked which car handles better. There is no room for arguement... stock for stock, the Z out handles the G, no "ifs" "ands" or buts" about it. And i'm not biased either, i dont even like the Z that much, it's a beautiful car, but i could never drive one daily, the blind spot in the C pillar kills it for me. I'll take my G sedan any day over a Z, but still, at the end of the day, the Z handles better.

Would it be that difficult to spend a little money on suspension mods to make the G handle as well as a stock Z (drop, stiffer sways, etc)?

not difficult, i have a set of Tein Basic coilovers on my sedan, no upgraded sways or anything else, and my car outhandles a Z. Picked up the coils for $600 used for 1000 miles.

It's not as if there's a HUGE difference in handling between the cars. It's like comparing red apples to green apples. Not the apples to oranges most seem to think. Stock vs stock, you really can't tell the difference in the two unless you're on a track. And no, it doesn't cost much to upgrade the g's suspension to make it handle as well as the Z. But if the Z is your handling goal, you're wasting your money.

as far as the handles, i like the intelligent key G handles

I drove my friends Z and was......... I guess you could say disappointed in the G. My question is would sways and coils bring the G up to par with the Z?
