I apologize in advance if this is something I should've been able to find on my own, but after I just looked through a few pages of posts I wasn't able to find an answer.

I was wondering what size the screws are for the license plates on a 2005 G35?

Do you have the car? If you do, can't you just pull the screws out and see? Also, front screws may vary by dealer since not all states require front mounted tags.

 

For the front or back?

from what i've seen on the front they just use some sheetmetal screw and screw it straight into the bumper, completely f'ing it up!

Saw some contraption (ebay???) that screwed into the tow hook spot that held the front plate, much better idea than just screwing holes into the bumper.

or just try and get away without a front plate
