I work nights and I always roll with the windows down, but that's because there are some police hot spots and I don't want to get pulled over for tint. I just put on a sweatshirt and beanie for those extra cold nights in southern California (60 degrees lol)

 

I have 12% and love it

 

I'd say get under 20% for sure.. 15 or 10 is the best.. 5 is a little on the dark side (what i have)

 

I've had 35% on two cars in va. I've only gotten one ticket for the tint and that was because I was rear ended and the cop saw my tint when he was checking the damage out

 

I got 4% on the back, and 16% on the front. But definetily go with whatever is legal in your state, or else you will always be subconsciously worried everything you see an squad car.

 

probably a bad idea but you could go with my setup, 5% on the driver and passenger windows and 3% on the rest.
Been pulled over a couple times but never for my tint

 

barely legal is best to get.

you can always fight the ticket if your a few % above

 

Can you post some pics of that? I've never seen 5% on the front and I've never seen any tint less then 5% anywhere. LOL
