Brand new to the site, I'll try to post some pics of my 2007 coupe in the next coming days. Haven't had any work done to my car. Honestly, I don't know too much about after market work.

I am thinking about getting my windows tinted to begin. Anyone here have any good recommendations on what type of tint I should get and prices associated with each type?

Well, I like 5% tints

Realistically, go for 15-20 and you'll be happy.

 

How dark you go, should depend on what state you live in and the laws...as for the brand, I would say make sure you get 3M. As for price, I paid about $320 for entire car.

 

what color is your interior..beige or charcoal?
i have 35% on my G , i have charcoal interior so it makes it darker then it is..

Go 3M the best and medium tint for front dark for back....If u live in So.Cal i recommend Tint Masters in Ontario,Ca.

 

Beige Interior. Just looked up the VA laws. I could do 50% on the front side windows and 35% for the back, how does the 35% look? I'm assuming you have that all the way around? darker the better imo!

 

if you have beige interior id suggest getting 20%

I got unknown brand for $130 front and rear. I got 35% front and 20% rear. And looks good.

 

Get 35% windshield, 20% on the sides and 5% on the rear. That looks the best.
