if its not to rude to ask, do you know an estimate of the mods you've put in?

 

Well lets just put it this way. I've spent more on mods then I did on the car.

congrats again on the wins man! you're ride is modified in almost every single way possible

obviously BBKs have space between their rotors and and inner barrel of the wheel, but i love how the brakes look bigger than your volks

 

Yeah those front rotors are massive.

 

clear corners, painted headlights and 8000k HID bulbs should be installed asap

 

Clear corners are on my bench waiting to be painted. A set of projector headlights are in the process of being painted and modded, but the 8000k bulbs are useless and will never be in my car. 5k maybe, but that's about it.

 

el oh el at your sig mike. never noticed it until now. 6K is mega clean for headlights too, projects white onto the road, but looks blue. you should consider those

 

That's the problem Mike. Headlights shouldn't look blue. They should be white. Anything else and the output of the bulb is decreased.

 

fair enough, i just that little blue tinge to give it the modified look. way i look at it is its still like 2.5x more light than halogen.

we need mod updates!

I was going to ask you if you got the lines, but I figured since I didn't get a call from you that you got them. I was on vacation this week, so the last thing I wanted to do was work on my car. Actually I barely even drove it. I did wash it today though since we had some rain this week and it was kind of dirty. Hopefully I'll get some more stuff done this week.

 

I just picked up my set of modded projector headlights from Iron Mike. Mike took less then a week to get them done and the crazy bastard actually drove from Boston down to NJ to deliver them to me.

They are black with the projector left in chrome. There are two rows of led's down the side and an led halo ring around the projector. Hopefully I can get them installed on Sunday.
