front plate

just got a ticket for no front plate, how do you put one on if their is nothing their thanks .steve b

You need to get the mounting bracket from the dealer.

Steve this was discussed yesterday right here on Driver but you need to do a SEARCH under license plate bracket. Everything you need to know can be found by using the SEARCH button....

You can get an aftermarket front license plate bracket that screws into the front bumper. You would need to remove the plastic cover and screw one in. I believe Stillen sells one, or you can get one via Ebay. Though it would eliminate the need to drill into the bumper, it can be easily removed by suspectiving thieves. The choice is yours.

DIY. get a frame/bracket. take the square plug in front...take the big paper binder clips, mask off any portions that will hit the paint...lock the clip. bolt the plate and wala.

there a DIY on this...or double side tape that beezie on both ends and call it a day. get it checked off then take it off.
