Quick Grill Advice

My g is at the paint shop... While they are doing other work, I decided to have them include the grill. Originally I told them to do a gloss black grill and a dg emblem (to match the car). Does that sound good or should I leave the emblem chrome? I also have black headlights... Tell me what you guys think!

dg emblem would be different... but leaving it chrome would probably look best.

if you decide to go black on the emblem, make sure they paint the sides, top and the bottom (everything but the face) black. looks a lot cleaner than leaving the whole thing chrome

the sides top and bottom (and inside) are already black as OEM. Only the front is chrome "look".

I personally think Gloss Black on an OB G35 looks sick, but any other color should be flat black with chrome Mt. Fuji.

I like the stock grill, but that's me. If anything, i prefer the 05-06 hyperblack style grill the best

Semi flat black grill w/chrome Mt Fuji looks best IMO.
That's why I did mine like that.

yeah just a semi gloss or gloss grill and then leave the emblem alone
and it looks clean

cause the car has so much chrome on it anyway it kind of looks odd when there is a whole spot that doesn't have any chrome (cause your headlights are blacked out)
but then again it might look good Because you have the headlights BO

just put it on with it chrome and then you can decide after that cause it pops right on and off pretty much

^good advice. Thats kinda my rule of thumb. You can always paint it later, but can't "unpaint" it.
