Don't worry about it. A little bit of water in your gas will just go through the engine and come out as steam. If it runs fine, there's not enough water to cause a problem.

Assuming that she somehow managed to get diesel into her tank - which is highly unlikely - That corolla would only run off the remaining petrol in her tank. Once she hits the diesel, the engine would not have enough pressure to ignite the diesel fuel, and she'll simply be sitting there.

No possible way for a petrol engine, especially a 2AZ-FE (I'm assuming of course) to run on diesel.

^^^Sorry Uda, but this story is way more entertaining than your "facts"

I guess I just find it impossible to enjoy a story when it can't happen. Ever. It's like me posting up a story about having an orgy with 18 different super models in Denmark with my 18 inch *****. It's an impossibility.

Guys – I doubt he followed her to see how far she got… eventually her car stopped running – that doesn’t mean he made up the story.

When I was 16 my first car was a used Mustang… it was capable of running on leaded (they had that at the pump back then) – but I always used unleaded… one day I figured I’d put leaded in to se if the performance would be any better – but I put diesel by mistake (16yrs old, 1st car don’t forget)… I was able to drive about 5 blocks before it died… I realized what I had done and siphoned the diesel out – towed to gas station, filled with unleaded, jumped up and down on the bumper trying to mix and the car drove fine.

Maybe thats what the old lady with the Corolla did too?

You know, if she told you this on her own accord, I got to respect that honesty. She could have played it like it never happened.

The diesel pumps are made larger, they wouldn't fit in, so if she did manage to put diesel in her car most of it would be spilling down the side of her car.

Don't worry about it, I do the same thing. The other day, I made up a story about how I put petrol into my diesel auto, and it burned it super fast, like nitrous! So now I only use petrol.

You must be crazy. Do you always base your self-esteem on how people respect you (or disrespect you) on some anonymous internet forum?
