I picked up my G Thursday (replacing my Altima, it got run over by a short bus last friday), and yesterday on my way home from work some guy in a Camaro (not even a Z28) tried to race me. 31 hours as a G owner.

I hate the gap between the seats and the center console. I don't know how many times my keys fell in and it took quite some time and caused a couple of bruises to try and get the key back out.

Were you jealous of the older men attracting pretty young ladies that you obviously can't pull in? Are you bragging about the fact that you now drive a 4 year old car that you probably bought for under 20K with a large amount of miles? Do you enjoy picking on M3s and then after you lose, you say "If I had FI, you would have been eating my dick"?

Also, does it really matter that you paid cash for your car? Just means you worked while you should have been studying. I guess you won't be going to college then, or rather even if you are, you'll be stuck with a HUGE loan, just because you didn't save up enough for tuition.

Then again, you can also go community college, and think unrealistically, that the education you are receiving there is the same caliber as that of research universities.
I'm 18, paid for my car cash that I earned at my own business (karbininc.com), and went to Vanderbilt this year (full scholarship) and going to Columbia next year (transferring). Don't lump us all together, and stop stereotyping. If you really want to play the "going to a bad school" card, I hope you went to Harvard.

EDIT: I understand I'm a bit late to the party, but thought I'd toss in my 2c and defend the fellow youngin's regardless

I was going to justify this reply with an answer detailing my life's accomplishments. But I really don't want to engage in an online pissing contest. However, I can say that I have done much more than you have, I paid for all of my cars with cash, and I'm going to a not-too-shabby of a school on full scholarship, finished two degrees and aiming for progressive masters programs, all at the age of 22.

I just don't like it when little kids try to brag about their G35s, and how they paid for it with cash. It's not that hard to do, and I certainly won't consider this feat as being extraordinary, as I am currently trying to catch up with my peers who have established companies and are driving SL500s.

EDIT: Prospective "going to" better universities don't count. I've heard too many stories about people bragging about their transfers, and end up not going anywhere. Unless you really get in, it just makes you look like a pompous dick.

I'm already accepted - it's not that prospective. I did come off a little bit dickish, and I apologize for that - jfizz deserved much of the flaming he got, but I felt like that shouldn't be applied to all teenagers and some of your comments seemed to generalize the criticisms you directed at him to everyone in his age group.

I'm glad you've done more than I have, you've got 4 years on me, I hope I'll have accomplished something as well in that time.

Putting things into perspective. If I simply said: "I just don't like it when little kids try to brag about their G35s, and how they paid for it with cash. It's not that hard to do, and I certainly won't consider this feat as being extraordinary", would it have had the same effect?
